Travel to Zero: a free guide committed to Mallorca

Travel to Zero grew out of one of the things we value most: conversation. After more than 50 years of history, from a small family workshop in Santa Margalida to building the ecosystem we are today, we asked ourselves how we could give back to Mallorca and its people for the trust they have always placed in us.

With this idea in mind, we took on the challenge of becoming a meeting point that connects and gives visibility to people, initiatives and businesses that promote culture, craftsmanship, local products, design, gastronomy and social commitment on the island; inspiring projects that take shape between the city and the countryside, and work with sensitivity, creativity and a vision for the future.

Since 2022, we have visited —without generating emissions thanks to electric mobility— around 200 initiatives that map out a Mallorca connected to its roots; a guide that brings together entrepreneurs who preserve inherited knowledge, cultivate the land and transform its produce into sustainable products; who shape, weave and paint; who foster inclusion and offer experiences connected to their surroundings. Family businesses with more than 100 years of history alongside emerging brands launched by younger generations.

Our mission has been, and continues to be, to play an active role in a responsible social, cultural and economic model that honours its legacy while looking ahead with enthusiasm, hope and optimism.

Four years after that first conversation, we are delighted to have created dialogues and connections with people who, like the Proa Group family, are always on the move, convinced that change is possible because they are already part of it.
